General Information
Piave cheese gets its name from the famous River Piave in Veneto, Northern Italy. The plains of this ancient river is the only area where the milk used to make this D.O.P. cheese comes from. This cheese became a D.O.P. cheese in 2010 and is produced by the Lattebusche dairy.
Piave Vecchio has a dense texture and highlights a full and buttery flavour, it combines the flavours of Parmigiano Reggiano and farmhouse Cheddar with sweet and nutty undertones.
